About Me

I'm Kaitlyn, and ever since I was about 8 years old I've had an interest in Photography that has turned into a deep love for it. I watched my sister do Photography while she was in college, and as I got older I would take photos of things I liked on my phone or iPod- things like different flowers, the sunrise or sunset, or just things I wanted to remember. I started using my older sister's camera to take photos until I was finally able to get my own. Photography to me is capturing a moment in time, almost like time traveling! I'm working to build my portfolio every day, which I'll be publishing on this site as I grow and develop my skills. Being born and raised in Upstate NY, naturally, I started with landscapes and my animals. I've always loved the scenery of the Catskill Mountains, and the view from them. Now I do portraiture as well, along with my current love- astrophotography. I'm so excited to continue to develop my skills and grow with my craft, and I would love to help you capture your favorite memories.
